Imbibitor Lunae Ascension and Trace Farming Guide for 2026

Imbibitor Lunae build guide reveals essential Ascension and Trace materials for maximizing this Imaginary Destruction DPS in 2026.

Why I Still Build Imbibitor Lunae in 2026

I still remember the first time I watched Dan Heng transform into Imbibitor Lunae... It was like the Astral Express itself stopped to watch. Even in 2026, with a roster full of shiny new DPS units, this 5-star Imaginary Destruction character remains a monster. He is Dan Heng's hidden power, and if you want him to hit like a dragon, you cannot skip the grind. You need to max his level, Ascension, and Traces. Trust me, your future self will thank you.

Ascension Materials: The First Hurdle

Let me start with the basics. To push Imbibitor Lunae to level 80, you need two families of materials: the Immortal Scionette line and Suppressing Edict. The Immortal Scionette family includes Immortal Scionette, Immortal Aeroblossom, and Immortal Lumintwig. These drop from Mara-struck enemies on the Xianzhou Luofu, such as Abundance Sprites, Disciples of Sanctus Medicus, Aurumaton Gatekeepers, and even The Ascended. You can also get them from Assignments, the Embers Exchange, and the Luofu world shop. If you are a veteran, you might have a leftover stock. If not, prepare to see those floating flowers in your sleep.

Suppressing Edict is the newer material. It comes exclusively from Stagnant Shadow: Shape of Puppetry. You need 66 copies, so you will run that challenge more than a few times. You can also use the Synthesizer to turn 2 copies of other Stagnant Shadow Ascension materials into 1 Suppressing Edict. I recommend saving that trick for the last one or two copies. Credits are also needed, but only about 308,000 for Ascension. That is pocket change compared to what comes next.

Ascension Phase Immortal Scionette Immortal Aeroblossom Immortal Lumintwig Suppressing Edict Credits
1 5 0 0 0 4,000
2 0 10 0 0 8,000
3 0 20 0 3 16,000
4 0 0 12 7 40,000
5 0 0 24 20 80,000
6 0 0 36 36 160,000
Total 5 30 72 66 308,000

Trace Materials: The Real Pain Begins

If Ascension is a hurdle, Traces are a marathon. Do not get me started on how many Immortal Scionettes you need here. The Immortal Scionette family returns, and you will need 41 Scionettes, 56 Aeroblossoms, and 50 Lumintwigs. That is on top of Ascension, so your total Immortal farming is 46 Scionettes, 86 Aeroblossoms, and 122 Lumintwigs. The Synthesizer will become your best friend.

Next, you need the Destruction Trace materials: Shattered Blade, Lifeless Blade, and Worldbreaker Blade. These come from Calyx (Crimson): Bud of Destruction. The Calyx will eat your Trailblaze Power for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You need 18 Shattered Blades, 69 Lifeless Blades, and a whopping 139 Worldbreaker Blades. Yes, 139. That number still makes me wince.

Then there is Regret of Infinite Ochema. This drops from Phantylia in Echo of War. You need 12 total. Because Echo of War has a weekly limit, this part is time-gated. RNG can be a cruel little gremlin, so you might not get the drops you want every week. Be patient.

Finally, Tracks of Destiny. You need 8. These come from events, the Embers Exchange, the Battle Pass, and Simulated Universe rewards. They are not farmable in a Calyx, so keep an eye on limited-time events. And of course, Credits. You need 3,000,000 Credits to max all Traces. That is not a typo. Credits evaporate like water when you are building a 5-star.

Material Total Needed Main Source
Immortal Scionette 41 Mara-struck enemies, Assignments, Embers Exchange
Immortal Aeroblossom 56 Synthesizer, same sources
Immortal Lumintwig 50 Synthesizer, same sources
Shattered Blade 18 Calyx (Crimson): Bud of Destruction
Lifeless Blade 69 Calyx (Crimson): Bud of Destruction
Worldbreaker Blade 139 Calyx (Crimson): Bud of Destruction
Regret of Infinite Ochema 12 Echo of War: Phantylia
Tracks of Destiny 8 Events, Embers Exchange, Battle Pass, Simulated Universe
Credits 3,000,000 Calyx (Golden): Bud of Treasures

My 2026 Farming Tips

Here is how I make the grind less painful in 2026:

  • 🐉 Use the Synthesizer aggressively. Convert lower-tier Immortal and Blade materials upward whenever you can.

  • 💰 Farm Credits early. 3,000,000 is a lot, especially if you are building other characters.

  • 🗓️ Do Echo of War every week. You cannot rush Regret of Infinite Ochema.

  • 🎁 Never skip Tracks of Destiny events. They are the silent bottleneck.

  • Save Fuel for double drop events. Calyx events are the best time to burn your saved Trailblaze Power.

  • 🤝 Pair him with skill-point positive supports. Imbibitor Lunae wants to consume skill points, so teammates who generate them make him shine.

Final Thoughts

Farming for Imbibitor Lunae is a long road. Honestly, it is a bit of a slog. You will run the same Calyx until your eyes glaze over, and you will curse the weekly boss lockout. But when he finally unleashes his dragon and deletes a wave of enemies, it all feels worth it. In 2026, he is still one of the most satisfying DPS characters to play. So take it one Calyx at a time... and trust me, your future self will thank you.
